  • William Houstoun represented his state of Georgia for three years 1783-1786.
  • He stayed at the Convention for for a short period of time from June 1 to June 23.
  • He went to the Convention because he wanted to settled the dispute the conflict on the boarder line of South Carolina and there state Georgia.
  • William went to the Convention to settle the conflict about the boarder with South Carolina.
  • When he was younger he recieved a liberal education which included legal training at Inner Temple in London.
