• He Arrived at the convention on May,28, and he was there through the entire convention except for a 2 week period in september
• He didn't make speeches at the convention,nor have a substantial role.
• He did sign the constitution
• Of the delegates from Pennsylvania who attended the constitution, he was probably the most distinguished.
• But he did not serve in the new government
